Description: A Neurologist is a licensed medical specialist who diagnoses and treats disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles by conducting thorough patient examinations, ordering diagnostic tests like imaging scans, and developing treatment plans to manage neurological conditions like epilepsy, stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injuries; requiring extensive knowledge of the nervous system and its functions to accurately interpret patient symptoms and provide appropriate care.

Requirements: Degree in medicine or osteopathy (essential).
3 years of specialty training in an accredited neurology residency program (essential).
Current state medical license and Federal DEA license (essential).
3 years of experience practicing as a Neurologist.
