- A Neonatologist, also known as a neonatal doctor, is a specialist in pediatric medicine focused on the medical care of newborns, especially those who are premature, critically ill, or require specialized attention. They work in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of conditions affecting newborns.
- Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Neonatologist or similar role
A willingness to work long hours and remain on-call for emergency situations
The ability to work under pressure and stress
Strong communication skills and patience and empathy towards patients and their families
Strong dedication and motivation for helping newborn infants
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Neonatologist
