Description: A Medical Transcriptionists job involves converting audio recordings of medical dictations into accurate written reports. This role requires strong listening and typing skills, as well as a solid understanding of medical terminology and grammar. Transcriptionists also need to be detail-oriented and able to edit and proofread their work for accuracy and clarity.

Requirements: Post-secondary training in medical transcription.
Certification as a healthcare documentation specialist would be advantageous.
2-3 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist, or similar.
Proficiency in Electronic Health Record systems, such as AdvancedMD and Kareo Clinical EHR.
Ability to transcribe accurately and maintain a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute.
Experience with specialized transcription equipment and voice recognition software, including WebChartMD and PhraseExpander.
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and jargon, as well as editing practice.
