- Sample Handling:
Receiving, labeling, and safely storing various samples (e.g., blood, tissue, chemicals).
Specimen Preparation:
Preparing solutions, reagents, and specimens for analysis.
Equipment Operation:
Utilizing and maintaining laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and other specialized instruments.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Conducting tests, recording data, and analyzing results using scientific methods.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate records of procedures, results, and observations, and preparing reports for senior staff or clients.
Laboratory Maintenance:
Cleaning and sterilizing equipment, organizing the lab, and ensuring proper storage of chemicals and materials.
Safety Compliance:
Adhering to strict safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring lab supplies, ordering new materials as needed, and maintaining an organized inventory.
Technical Support:
Assisting scientists and other laboratory personnel with experiments and procedures.
