Description: Performing tests: Conducting experiments and tests to produce data and support scientific investigations
Preparing samples: Collecting, labeling, and storing samples for testing
Maintaining equipment: Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment, such as centrifuges, titrators, and pH meters
Recording results: Recording and analyzing results, and writing reports and summaries
Ensuring safety: Following safety procedures and regulations, and keeping the lab clean and safe
Staying current: Keeping up with scientific developments and technical advances
Communicating: Communicating scientific information to colleagues, and answering questions about results
Ordering supplies: Ordering supplies, including test tools and equipment
Maintaining records: Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
Proven experience working as a Lab Technician.
Working experience operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, biohazards, etc.)
In depth knowledge of QHSE management systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Analytical skills.
