- A Laboratory Specialist performs routine and specialized tests, analyzes samples, and operates laboratory equipment to support scientific investigations and provide diagnostic information. They are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.
- Requirements
- A minimum of a BSc in medical diagnostics, medical technology or an equivalent with a specialist in medical microbiology;
6 Years of experience in medical microbiology in a human clinical laboratory in developing countries with at least two years’ experience in a laboratory quality management role
Knowledge and experience in the laboratory diagnosis of infectious diseases including specific hands-on laboratory experience.
