- Sample Analysis:
Conducts chemical, biological, and other analyses on diverse samples (e.g., water, wastewater, solids, soil, biological specimens).
Data Management:
Records, processes, interprets, and analyzes test results, often using statistical analysis and specialized software.
Equipment Maintenance:
Operates, calibrates, and maintains laboratory instruments, such as spectrophotometers and centrifuges, and performs minor repairs.
Quality Control:
Follows standardized procedures and quality assurance practices to ensure accurate and repeatable results.
Safety & Compliance:
Adheres to stringent safety protocols, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and other regulatory standards and guidelines.
Reporting:
Prepares detailed reports, presentations, and documentation based on their findings to inform decisions in research, production, or regulatory reporting.
Collaboration:
Works closely with senior analysts, lab managers, scientists, and other team members to share knowledge and achieve project goals.
Laboratory Operations:
Prepares samples, performs housekeeping duties, manages inventory, and ensures the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
