Description: diagnosing and studying disease in tissues and organs, including cancer and inflammatory diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohns disease

Requirements: A Ph.D. in medicine.
A minimum of 4 years of specialist training in histopathology.
Completion of the United States Medical Licensing exam.
Extensive knowledge of tissue sampling and analysis techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional clinical supervision skills to lead the biomedical team.
Regular presentation of tissue and cell diagnostic reports.
The ability to write lucid clinical audit reports.
Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
