Description: A Hearing Aid technician is responsible for providing diagnostic testing and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. They use specialised equipment to diagnose and treat a wide range of hearing problems and provide advice and support to patients. Hearing Aid technicians also provide hearing aid fitting and maintenance, as well as provide instruction on the use of hearing aids.

Hearing Aid Technician Duties:

-Assist audiologist with hearing tests and other diagnostic procedures
-Provide instruction on the care and use of hearing aids

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Certification as a Hearing Aid Technician or similar qualification.
Experience working with hearing aids and related devices.
Strong technical skills and proficiency with hearing aid software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Knowledge of audiology principles and practices.
