Description: A cardiologist is a medical doctor who studies and treats diseases and conditions of the cardiovascular system — the heart and blood vessels — including heart rhythm disorders, coronary artery disease, heart attacks, heart defects and infections, and related disorders.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
3 to 7 years’ internship and clinical residency training, specializing in cardiology.
Certification by The American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiology and/or a sub specialty, such as cardiovascular disease, or interventional cardiology.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding hand-eye coordination.
Wonderful bedside manner.
Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.
Flexible working hours.
